SANT' ALBERTO
A typical late 1500's building (with addings and changes of the 1600's) with a perimetrical lower sloped wall, that is a 'scarpata'.
It was probably built by the Estes as a military garrison headquarter and later belonged to the Ravennate noble families. There isn't alot of information regarding the Palazzone, it's sure that the structure that still distinguishes it from the other public and private buildings of the country makes us think that in the past it must have had an important social role. Today, in its restructuring phase,is becoming the principal Information Center of the Park for the Ravennate part. In S.Alberto one can find the house of Guerrini a small Cultural Center of the Park.
